Early 2022 IRS was commissioned by a client to design and build a custom 10,000kg Grease Tank Solution.

The Client was very specific about their needs:

1.10,000kg capacity
2.28kg Flow Rate
3.Follower plate
4.Overfill protection
5.Heater - Thermostat controlled
6.Load Cells – Sim Card for data transfer
7.Internal pressure relief
8.Side mounted level gauge
9.Auto Pressure Vent
10.Fill and discharge grease filtration at 200µ
100000 kg Grease Tank 2
The grease fill point incorporated the fill filter and overfill shut-off valve.
1000 discharge end

The discharge end consisted of:

1.26:1 Grease pump
2.Pressure relief valve
3.Pressure venting valve 
4.Air service units
5.Discharge grease filter
10000 Grease Tank Grease Heater
Load cells and thermostatic controlled grease heater
10000 Grease Tank Load cell control and communications system

Load Cell control and communications system. 

The system is fitted with a sim card for real data monitoring and transfer back to the control room and the supplier.

A very difficult lift for the Wilsons Cranes boys. Its reassuring to watch their expertise come to the fore when getting a high lift through our workshop low roller door.
